It is currently based on this url
poetrynz.ning.com

These are the new URL pointing at it:

my.poetry.org.nz

www.newzealandpoetry.org

It is been redesigned twice and aims to be a place for anyone to setup their own NZ poetry page on the net. If it starts to really work, then a more formal launch of newzealandpoetry.org will be the next phase.

Our aim to to publish New Zealand poetry.

As a “New Zealand” site, we want it to reflect our land, people and voice. We will only publish work of a very high standard on the main site or cover specific artists or subjects we consider significant to the culture of Poetry in New Zealand. This may include film clips of live poetry and sound recordings of it alongside text and even photography - all acceptable mediums. Flash movies and Embed text from a livevideo or youtube posting are also possible. We use WordPress to build content for this publication.

Any draft in the system may be published but if marked “Private” with editors comment then only editor and writer can see the work.

If you want to contribute, you must send me your publishing bio. www.poetry.org.nz will only ever publish works of real named individuals who can claim copyright to their work.

As part of the .org domain, the site will be non-profit.

We select Authors from our Contributors, over time. Authors will be invited to contribute a body for work to be featured on a page.

www.poetry.org.nz may invite non-members to be Authors or may post on their behalf.

If a poem or performance of yours is posted here and its not right, please let me know to remove it. Sometimes it is hard to verify ownership of contributed video, so your legal copyright notice helps stop plagurism. We are here to maintain a record of New Zealand poetry, rather than to profit from the works of others.

To present fine New Zealand poetry.
